Manga artist Rui Takatō announced on his Twitter account that he is retiring from the manga industry. The statement does not make it clear whether it is permanent or temporary, as it indicates both. He also informs that his manga Hagure Idol Jigokuhen Booty Royale: Never Go Down Without a Fight! will go on temporary hiatus due to his retirement.
According to him, he had been planning for retirement since last year, and it's due to circumstances at his house, making it difficult to constantly draw manga about "breasts and sex". About Hagure Idol Jigokuhen, Takatō stated that if the situation in his home changes, he might consider continuing the manga. He added that he is satisfied with his work on the manga as a hybrid "softcore porno" and "battle" manga, and that the series has consistently sold well. He also noted, however, that his motivation to continue the manga was not high given the circumstances surrounding the manga's production.
Hagure Idol Jigokuhen Booty Royale: Never Go Down Without a Fight! has reached its climax in July last year.

Hagure Idol Jigokuhen was released by Rui Takatō in Nihonbungeisha magazine Bessatsu Manga Goraku in February 2014, and with the magazine closing later this year, the manga migrated to the Manga Goraku Special magazine in March 2015. To date, the publisher has published 12 volumes of the manga.
