"Dungeon Travelers" series coming to PC
Shiravune has just announced the launch of the Dungeon Travelers series for PC, the franchise is a trio of RPGs developed by AQUAPLUS, the same developer of Utawarerumono. Players will delve into twisting mazes, fight deceptively cute monsters, loot everything they'll need to defeat the series' many fiendish challenges! The high-resolution PC port will feature English and Chinese translation along with the Japanese original.
Interestingly Dungeon Travelers 2 and Dungeon Travelers 2-2 will be released initially, with the first game coming later. Probably because of the history of the last two being interconnected, since the first one is something apart. The games were released in the west for the PlayStation Vita. The point of origin for the series, Dungeon Travelers: To Heart 2 in Another World, takes place in a separate continuity with characters from the To Heart 2 franchise.
The Dungeon Travelers series is beloved in Japan for its addictive dungeon crawling, deep looting and combat systems, and charming cast of characters. Level up to earn skill points that you can spend unlocking new strategic abilities; Get powerful enough and you'll unlock branching class customization that breaks the five core classes into over fifteen personality-packed variants. Uncover the story and even more adventures will become available as the legendary elusive Crown system offers even more adventures for truly dedicated players...!
Dungeon Travelers 2 and Dungeon Travelers 2-2 will be released on the Johren website:
Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library & the Monster Seal
Dungeon Travelers 2-2: The Fallen Maidens & the Book of Beginnings
Unfortunately, the game will not be released on Steam due to publisher difficulties with the platform's review process.
