Lollipop Chainsaw is back!
Yoshimi Yasuda former CEO of Kadokawa Games, and current CEO of Dragami Games, announced on his twitter that the franchise Lollipop Chainsaw is back, now in the hands of his new company. Yasuda has worked for the last 14 years with titles like Root Letter and God Wars: Future Past and has retired from Kadokawa Games ] to start his own company, Dragami Games, where he will continue working on titles that Kadokawa Games is known for, including action, strategy and simulation games.
Lollipop Chainsaw was a collaboration between artist Gōichi Suda (Suda51) and filmmaker James Gunn, released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012, is a hack-and-slash where the player faces hours of zombies in an infested school controlling the sexy cheerleader Juliet Starling, who in addition to her punches and pom poms also uses a chainsaw as a weapon. The game was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Kadokawa Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
